www.serenitystuff.com/2007/11/10/buy-jaynes-shirts-and-help-the-marine-corp-help-children/Buy Jayne’s shirts and help the Marine Corp help children Adam Baldwin and the California Browncoats are cleaning out Jayne’s closet and you can help! Adam Baldwin is auctioning off 13 shirts that he wore during the filming of Firefly and Serenity to benefit the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. These shirts were all highly recognizable to Browncoats; each one was worn during a key scene in “Firefly” or “Serenity.” (Of course, all scenes with Jayne were key scenes…) The auctions will begin Nov. 14 and will continue until all the shirts are sold. You can see ‘em all, including descriptions of when they appeared, at the California Browncoats site. The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation uses donated funds to provide assistance “to children of Marines or Federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country at home or abroad. These funds enable us to provide these children with scholarships for their higher education.” Help kids and help yourself to the contents of Jayne’s laundry sack.

I'm sure they'll go for far more than I can afford! I'll still bid, but I'll be outbid before the first 10 minutes are over-guaranteed.
Gotta save that $$$ for next year's move....

The first shirt is listed at $338 right now on ebay. Nine days to go-I'm guessing at least $2500 on that one, maybe more.... It's already passed my max limit on spending!

It's up to $700 today... One more day before this one's over-usually the last few hours is when the "real" bidding begins...
I'd be interested in what this one finally goes for!

Congratulations to whomever won!

Shirt #2 is out there now.... The one with the fishbones.... Starting out at $300......
Place your bids-it's for a great cause.
And just to remind everyone, it's Toys for Tots time-the US Marine Corps is running their usual charity drive-I'm sure there's a donation point near everyone. Don't forget the kids who don't have as much as we do!
