It'll be showing on Hallmark Movie Channel at 6 PM EST.
I'm given to understand that Adam's character is a really sweet one this time around...

**SPOILERS AHEAD**
Adam plays the sheriff in this film. He comes out of the screen and into real life to round up the baddies who have also escaped into the real world. He looks so adorable in the sheriff's uniform. I found this film to be entertaining and slightly cheesy, but in a good way. Adam once more gets to work with George Kennedy who also appears in Sands of Oblivion.

What I loved about our adorable Sheriff was that he was just so danged old-fashioned... He's probable the most innocent character I've ever seen Adam play. Always calling all the women Ma'am; even when one of them expressly told him to stop that. Then, there are the roses... ;D Poor guy came from a black-and-white world, never knew they came in yellow. Favoritest quote... "Could use some hooch...Not that I know what hooch is..." Something tells me he would be horrified if anyone told him what hooch really was... A truly sweet character, Sheriff Jay Forrest...

Yes, I love Sheriff J!!!! He's the model for one of my characters in my Cover Up series, starting with story 2. (That was a 1983-84 Jon-Erik Hexum show.) So, in those stories he's Sheriff Jonathan Floyd, a real down to earth, sweet Texan guy, who's in love with Danielle Reynolds, the Fashion photographer and partner to the undercover CIA agent, Mac Harper (Hexum)

*A bit of spoilers below, but more opinions.*
As cute as Adam was, he really was the best thing to come out of that movie. The kids over acted, and were rude and obnoxious, everyone treated Sheriff J like a piece of cardboard, telling him he wasn't 'real' oh, except when they needed him to help capture the monsters...poor Sheriff wasn't given much to do really, he was trapped within the confines of his written character.
And the end just kills me, the way he hesitates with the white-out before erasing himself out of existence. If there was truly one likable character in this film, (preferably a predictable, pretty, kind Hallmark woman, lol) She should have jumped and stopped him. I would have. It seemed like he didn't want to go...
and then the surprise ending....that was cute.
I could totally see Adam in a movie like 'The Purple Rose of Cairo' which is one of my favorites, where the heroic character come off the screen and collides with his real life counterpart. That was a great film.
