TITLE: Radio Flyer YEAR: (1992) CHARACTER: The King REVIEWD BY: Darren/Fireflyfanuk BRIEF PLOT OUTLINE:A father reminisces about his childhood when he and his younger brother moved to a new town with their mother, her new husband and their dog, Shane. When the younger brother is subjected to physical abuse at the hands of their brutal stepfather, Mike decides to convert their toy trolley, the Radio Flyer, into a plane to fly him to safety. ADAM’S PERFORMENCE: Adam was scary in this movie. his face was almost never shown, creating a real sense of dread when ever we knew his character was there. useing a combenation of extreem close ups and shots from below the neck the directer really managed to convey the darkness in Adams character. But Adam had a huge part to play in that too, he made a character the audience would hate, and we didnt even see his face. a complex role and again, Adam pulls it off nicely. RATING: / 5
