At first glance, Danny Roberts (Rachel Nichols, Dumb & Dumberer) seems to be the quintessential American teenager, dating the quarterback at a suburban high school. Only a few know her secret: Danny is not really a high school student, but a 22-year-old federal agent working undercover. Helping Danny – who is actually Agent ELIZABETH WORTH – maintain her cover is Agent Sean Eckhardt (Peter Facinelli, Fastlane).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the pilot episode, Danny / Elizabeth's drug investigation is sidetracked when her high school "boyfriend" is murdered. She must confront the pressures of getting personally involved in the lives of her classmates, while working to solve the murder and put the drug investigation back on track – all without blowing her cover. Over the course of the series, Danny's assignments will vary, but she always faces the unique challenges of going undercover to solve crimes.

Wait a sec... Adam is going to play 22-year old guy?! Yeah, I actually was doing some research several months ago about the FBI and I found that one of the requirements for employment was to be "at least 23 and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment". So 22 is too young to be a special agent with the FBI. I didn't jot down the URL to the page where I found that info it was somewhere on one of the FBI websites. The info is either on their main .gov site or an official fbi training academy site or the Pre-Quantico Kit site, links below: www.fbi.gov/hq/td/academy/academy.htmwww.fbijobs.com/PreQuanticoKit/01.htmwww.fbi.gov/~Cassie

I wasn't asking because of that. I mean, sorry man, but Adam can't pass as 22 year old guy, especially the one that goes to high-school...

I agree I don't think he can pass as 22, but I don't care he'll look great I'm sure. I hope that the writing is well done too, nothing spoils a potentially great show more than poor writing and character development. I love character development. ~Cassie

Hiya peoples! The dealio with The Inside is that the show got a complete makeover after information had already been posted all over the internet. Tim Minear was brought in, the high school is out, Peter Facinelli left, and Adam joined the cast. There also appear to have been changes in the character names as well.

And The Inside would be something more like X Files or Profiler? Are there any news about this series?

This is quite old news, but here it is anyway: E.T star on The Inside Posted on Tue, 4-Jan-2005 Ol' Moviehole Bud Peter Coyote ["E.T", "Sphere"] has joined the cast of FOX's retooled series, "The Inside", which started filming in L.A last month. Coyote, who stars in two new "Return of the Living Dead" sequels in 2005, recently played Dennis Ryland on the series "The 4400". We can report that he's on "The Inside" for the long-haul. The show centers on a young, ambitious FBI agent (Rachel Nichols) who is assigned to the agency's Los Angeles Violent Crimes Division. Adam Baldwin, Jay Harrington, and Kimberly Scott ["7th Heaven"] also star in the show. Tim Minear, of "Angel" fame, was hired to write a new template for the show after the first script was met unfavourably. (Minear isn't the only 'Buffy' link to the series : They're filming "The Inside" on all the old "Buffy" sets). There's whispers that "The Inside" might soon change its name to "Southland", so stay tuned. Source: www.moviehole.net/news/4793.html

I sure am looking forward to it.
I'm glad they ditched the high school. Automatically everyone would compare it to "21 Jump Street," which would give it a huge disadvantage, I think. Guess they did too.
